Miner Accuses Judge and Prosecutor

A Bitcoin miner firm from Arkansas that runs a mining and data center has alleged that the Judge and Prosecutor have started a persecution campaign against them. The company also filed a case against both officials.

Unnecessary Application of Noise Laws

As per the miner, they were being prosecuted for noise pollution in Faulkner County in a property that they acquired in October 2022.

Biased Enforcement Actions

The concerned miner firm calls the actions by local authorities biased because laws were selectively being created to target the company. Further, the new decrees issued by the local civil authorities allegedly violate the Arkansas Data Centers Act.

No Zoning Restrictions When Land Purchased

When they purchased the land in 2022, there were no zoning restrictions for noise pollution. They added that no laws were enforced for other companies and facilities despite the latter generating more noise.

Residents Enforced New Law to Profit From Compensations

The company said that the motive behind such selective lawmaking and enforcement was the desire of residents to profit from potential compensations.
