A significant data breach has affected over 92,000 Transak users, exposing sensitive personal information.
The breach occurred when a phishing scheme allowed an attacker to access an employee's laptop and compromise a vendor's dashboard.
The hacker accessed the company's third-party KYC service, revealing personal details, including names, birth dates, passport numbers, driver’s licenses, and selfies of 92,554 individuals.
The company assured users that no financial information, such as credit card details or Social Security Numbers, was compromised in the breach.
