A report by Deutsche bank has revealed that only 14% of all launched stablecoin projects survive in the market.
The report is based on a survey of 334 stablecoins and pegged currencies.
The survey said most stablecoins last for only 8-10 years.
Issues around governance and speculative forces often lead to de-pegging.
Tether has criticized the survey saying the report failed to present concrete data.
