She was first reported as a criminal after her project, the One Coin, which turned out to be a scam.
To date, she has been reported to have lured investors to invest up to $4 billion in her scam project.
There have been rumours of her death and even murder. However, there are also claims that Ruja has been spreading those rumors herself.
One Coin was a Ponzi scheme that lured early investors with rewards based on money obtained from later investors.
