FIFA Jumps on the NFT Bandwagon

FIFA has collaborated with Modex to introduce NFTs for the upcoming 2023 Club World Cup
These exclusive digital assets will be distributed through the FIFA+ Collect platform, leveraging the capabilities of Algorand
The initial set of 100 NFTs is scheduled for release on December 15th, presenting buyers with a unique opportunity to secure tickets for the World Cup 2026
Subsequently, the second batch comprising 900 NFTs will be unveiled on December 18th and minted on the Polygon blockchain
Despite the anticipation, trading volume for FIFA NFTs remains relatively subdued, with a recorded figure of $2.4 million and only 11.57% of the available packs minted.
