Gemini Foundation, founded by billionaires Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, will host its first trading competition next month
The goal is to attract new users to the international crypto derivatives exchange launched in May
The Gemini Leaderboard competition starts on August 1, 2023
Traders' performance on the platform will be tracked, and top-performers will be rewarded accordingly
During the competition, the best traders can earn up to 250 GUSD daily. The competition is open to all but not available for users in the US, UK, and EU
Interested traders must fund their derivatives account with at least 250 GUSD before the end of the month and maintain it throughout the competition
Gemini's trading volume has decreased significantly over the past year, prompting the competition as an effort to revitalize the platform and attract more users.
