In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that the SEC was at war with the entire crypto ecosystem.
The statement comes after the SEC changed its stance on a settlement and reiterated its demand for the $2 billion fine.
The new stances of both parties make the case resolution difficult. However, the dispute could end sooner if they enter a summary trial.
Based on the last SEC vs. Ripple trial, the case can be resolved in 2 to 6 months.
Ripple had been confident of a win and firm that its XRP sales were not securities.
