Larsen emphasizes that the Democrats need a fresh approach to tech innovation, including cryptocurrency.
In August, Larsen donated $1 million to the pro-Harris Future Forward PAC, bringing his total contributions to one of the largest crypto space.
The crypto industry has contributed $190 million to the 2024 US election so far, a significant increase from the $15 million donated in 2020.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse respected Larsen’s decision, noting that Ripple will continue engaging with Democrats and Republicans to promote pro-crypto policies.
