The SEC has reportedly agreed to settle its case against Ripple for a $103 million fine.
Previously, the SEC had asked for $2 billion, thrice the amount of XRP sales made to institutions.
The SEC had primarily charged Ripple and its executives for selling unregistered securities.
Last year, Ripple won a case against the SEC in which district court Judge Analisa Torres deemed the retail sales of XRP not to be security.
The win might prove monumental for XRP, which might reclaim its 2024 high of $0.72 soon.
