In a surprising move, VanEck has applied to the SEC for its spot in the Solana ETF.
As per GSR Markets, a crypto analytics firm, approving Solana ETFs might result in a 9x gain for SOL.
However, some have suggested that approval might not be possible soon.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse added that altcoin ETFs like Solana and XRP could take the crypto market cap to $5 trillion.
The ETF is expected to open the gates for more altcoin ETFs like XRP, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.
