SEC sent a notice to Uniswap Labs on April 10, 2024 which was revealed by Uniswap’s blog.
Uniswap founder expressed concern over the notice and said it would fight the SEC.
The action seems to be inspired by the SEC’s will to impose US Security laws on digital asset companies like Uniswap.
SEC has been fighting cases against several crypto companies like Coinbase, Kraken, Binance and several others.
The foundation of all these cases lie on the assumption by the SEC that crypto is a kind of investment security.
