Polygon announced its digital football collectibles for the ongoing world cup. It is a Non-fungible token collection that allows every nation to create its virtual team on the Polygon blockchain. In addition, you can mint your country’s NFT. 

Similarly, 32 digital polygon football teams will be able to celebrate the game. The aim is to build a global sporting community on the Polygon blockchain.

Furthermore, Polygon emphasized the impact of football and the buzz around web3— Merging the two platforms is expected to bring the world nations together to create magic. Similarly, users and football enthusiasts can explore the projects on the Polygon blockchain.  

Significantly, the digital football collection will be a part of Polygon’s Virtual NFT Art Gallery.
