TON Blockchain Introduces On-Chain Encrypted Messaging Feature

The Open Network (TON) introduces on-chain encrypted messaging

Users can now send private messages within the network.

TON is a blockchain network derived from Telegram's code

It offers scalability and transaction throughput while staying decentralized

Previously, TON allowed public messages in transactions

The new feature allows end-to-end encryption, ensuring only the intended recipient can read them

TON core developer Anatoly Makosov said the feature adds personalization to transactions and serves as a reliable method of communication in case traditional servers fail

Encrypted messaging is now available on MyTonWallet, OpenMask, and TON Wallet
