Bitcoin’s dominance has fluctuated from 34% in 2018 to 70% in 2019, with new highs during each major rally. The current phase of growth, driven by institutional investments and Bitcoin ETFs, has taken its dominance to a peak near 60%.
Ethereum saw a dip due to whale sell-offs, XRP faced legal and regulatory challenges, while other Altcoins saw high volatility as traders booked profits after recent highs.
