Mastercard has launched a self-custodial crypto card that lets users spend their crypto holdings.
The card supports over 40 cryptocurrencies and allows spending like a usual debit card.
The crypto debit card has been launched in partnership with Mercuryo, one of Europe's largest payment infrastructure providers.
Though the card has been launched in Europe, we expect it to go global since it would enable every crypto owner to spend their funds directly.
Unlike MetaMask’s crypto card, which is only restricted to MetaMask users, this card allows users to link other platform wallets as well. Further, this card supports a wider range of cryptocurrencies than MetaMask.
