Chipotle, a US-based casual restaurant, will be giving away $200,000 worth of crypto in bitcoin, Dogecoin, Solana, and Ether.
This giveaway was announced on Monday when the company said its fans would be able to play its "buy the dip" game using their game's rewards.
It is expected to give away $45,000 in Bitcoin, $10,000 in Ether, $13,750 in Solana, $14,250 in Avalanche, and $14,250 in Dogecoin via the game.
"We want to build the next generation of Chipotle fandom by connecting with the Web3 community," said CMO Chris Brandt.
It must be noted that the restaurant chain did a similar giveaway mid-this year, giving out $100,000 as part of a promotion for National Burrito Day.
And in June 2022, the company celebrated its roughly 3000 restaurants in the US and accepted over 98 cryptocurrencies as payment options.
These days, many users have been buying dips in the price of Bitcoin following extreme volatility in the entire crypto market. So, this giveaway is it's way of releasing more bitcoin to their customers. The restaurant chain says it will give bitcoin prizes according to the exchange rate when buying the bitcoin.
