Mumbai, India — 17, september , 2026: eXchange1, a digital asset marketplace and crypto futures and options platform registered as a Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider with India’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND), is bringing back Trading Thursdays on October 15, following the first edition of its Mumbai community meetup held on September 3.
Trading Thursdays was launched as an offline community initiative to bring together traders, investors, builders and others participating in India’s growing digital asset ecosystem. Rather than building the format around product presentations or formal panels, eXchange1 designed the meetup around conversations between people actively participating in the markets.
The first edition, held at Effingut Brewpub NESCO in Goregaon East, brought Mumbai’s trading community together for an informal evening of market conversations, networking and community activities.
“We didn’t want another product launch dressed up as an event,” said Deepankar Kapoor, Chief Growth Officer for Global Markets at eXchange1. “The idea was simply to create a space where traders could meet, exchange views and talk about what they are actually seeing in the markets. The response to the first edition showed us there is value in creating more opportunities for these conversations to happen offline.”
The initiative comes as participation in digital assets continues to evolve in India, alongside growing conversations around trading, market structure, compliance and the development of the broader ecosystem. Through Trading Thursdays, eXchange1 aims to create a recurring touchpoint for the community beyond online trading screens and social platforms.
Following the September meetup, the next Trading Thursdays edition will take place in Mumbai on October 15, 2026. The series is intended to continue as a recurring community format, with future editions bringing together participants from across the trading and digital asset ecosystem across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and other cities.
