The Black Tech Day event organized by Superteam UK and Blockchain Sensei saw several important discussions on Solana, Saga Phone and how users could earn their first £1,000 through the Solana Ecosystem.
The event was attended by prominent Web3 figures like Dexter Simms, Superteam UK’s Stephen Newnham among others. It was free for Black Tech Day members and had a nominal fee of £10 for the public.

The Black Tech Day event also discussed the upcoming Saga Phone 2 which is expected to boost the Solana ecosystem.
Solana recently launched the Saga Phone 2 which comes with inbuilt Web3 functionality. Though the features are not released yet, its pre-order has been opened for everyone.
Nominally priced at $1000, the phone shows the price of $450 for founder window.

The internal memory of the phone features a 512 GB storage.

Solana has several DApps on its ecosystem that empowers its users financially, including its blockchain which is giving a tough competition to Ethereum.
Some of the DApps include Magic Eden, an NFT marketplace meant for creators, Marinade Finance, liquid staking platform on Solana, and Kamino, a DEX on Solana.
What Solana does Different in 2024?
Solana has a lot of things in its arsenal for the year 2024. Its token has already done 4x just like its TVL.
The main reasons are its developmental activity along with the superior performance of its blockchain. Solana was earlier marked by blockchain halts and shutdowns. However, in 2023 it almost eliminated these issues.
