The world’s largest Ethereum (ETH) whales are loading up on three metaverse altcoins as the crypto markets flash signs of improvement. While there is still plenty to fear in this market, it seems that some big players may be coming out ahead after all.

Excluding ETH and Stablecoins, the top target for the 100 largest Ethereum wallets on Sunday was Gala (GALA). The play-to-earn blockchain gaming platform, which allows users to win games by mining them and completing tasks within its ecosystem.

The top 100 Ethereum addresses bought an average of $3,287 worth of GALA tokens over a 24-hour period this weekend.

These top ETH whales also purchased Smooth Love Potion (SLP). The SLP token is a way to earn rewards and purchase creatures in the online battling game called Axie Infinity. The whales bought an average of $1,879 worth of SLP.

The whales also purchased an average of $130 worth of SAND, which is the native token for The Sandbox metaverse game. The announcement of SAN being listed by US crypto exchange giant Coinbase has sent the price skyrocketing.

The top 100 Ethereum wallets have purchased an average of $645 worth of the native token for Compound (COMP). COMP is an innovative blockchain-based lending platform that allows users to borrow and lend cryptocurrency, as well as $107 worth of CHSB. It is the native token for SwissBorg, a wealth management platform for cryptocurrencies.
