As an angel investor, he has investments in over 20 companies, including Airbnb, Counsyl, Opendoor, and ETHIndia (a hackathon to support Ethereum developers in India). Balaji is one of the “fathers” of crypto-economics and has influenced how we think about decentralized systems today. Balaji is also a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, where he advises on cryptocurrncy investments.

Naval Ravikant is the CEO and founder of AngelList, a company that helps startups connect with angel investors. To date, he has invested in over 100 companies, including Coinbase (the largest US-based cryptocurrency exchange), Blockstack (a decentralized computing platform), and OpenBazaar (an open-source, peer-to-peer marketplace). Balaji is also an active investor/advisor to many blockchain projects like 0x Protocol, Augur, Balancer Labs, etc., cofounder at Republic Crypto & MetaStable Capital, along with Balaji Srinivasan.
